Robert Westerfield, of Westerfield Studios, Rob has been making medieval armor sense 1980. He has done all kinds of armor work for people on an international level, the list including Movies, Halo Fan club 405th, The Stormtrooper Fan Club 501 First, SG 1 Fan Club, the Death Metal band "Yeti", re-enactment folks in the SCA who bash each other silly on a regular basis, rapier/broadsword fencing groups, LARP groups, renaissance festival folks, WW II groups, and He has even made a chastity Belt. Costumes of varying design has been a constant for him. He has displayed quality armor that meets and exceeds most clubs requirements, and have even sold armor to museums. There's already armor here, but not Rob's armor. True enough, the general cost seems to be fair in a lot of cases, but it seems as though a lot of the armor is only of very basic quality out there. We hope to bring you better armor than you are used to seeing, Thats all.
Have Fun and be safe.

Mini biography
Robert Westerfield Jr. was born in Columbus, Indiana, and moved to Florida in 1969. His father Robert built houses and his mother Dola sold real-estate. He first experience on stage was at school in 1976 in a Revolutionary War fashion show. After that a boyhood dream of creating costumes was born. In 1980 he started with The Bronze Dragon Stunt Team working at the Bay Area Renaissance Faire. He also joined the The Free Lancer Jousting Team in 1998, for a few months.
In 2000 he settle down and expanded his costume shop “Steel Dreams Studios“ at that time making steel armor for re-enactment and medieval groups, museaums and theatre productions, into a a far larger warehouse production studio. The Studio focused working on realistic looking costumes for the 501st Star Wars Fan Clubs/Groups, WWII Renactment Groups and Indie movies. In 2004 he added comic books thanks to the hand of Johnny Atomic. Also 2004 the shop/studio was even more expanding adding more props and sets designs into production. In 2006 he changed the name to Westerfield Studios because we were now doing a lot more than armour. We are now working to be fully developed production company. Rob was also helping out at Access Pinellas. Recently, G4 TV bought a Halo 2 Costume from Westerfield Studios for the E3 Electronic Covention TV coverage/special and shorts.
