Ash Dump Door

An ash-dump door is that little "trap door" you'll find in the bottom of most fireplaces. It's a handy device because it allows you to sweep their fireplace ashes into an ash pit, located below the fireplace.

Its access hole is the size of a firebrick, and its outside dimensions are 5 1/2" X 9 1/2". Simp,y lift out the old door and drop in the new.
